Teaching Assistant - Level 3

Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their unique infant school; a Teaching Assistant who shares our vision for providing a first-class education and the ability to live out our mission statement of ‘Learning and achieving together’. Who we are looking for: As a Teaching Assistant in our school, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. You will work alongside a class teacher to plan and deliver exciting lessons, assess children’s progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the development of each child. You will: - Like working with all children and will be their advocate - Enjoy the challenge of supporting pupils with complex learning/ pastoral needs - Be passionate and enthusiastic for learning - Have high expectations for all children - Establish good working relationships with children, staff and parents - Take direction and work on own initiative - Work as part of a team - Promote positive behaviour relentlessly - Be hard working and conscientious - Be resilient to setbacks - See a challenge as an opportunity - Be an excellent communicator - Be organised and efficient - Be friendly and flexible - Be professional and positive - Understand confidentiality Blackmoor Park Infants is a forward-thinking, three-form entry infant school.
