Teacher of Religious Education

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our successful Religious Education Department. We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning RE. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels from ages 11-18. The right candidate will: - Qualified Teacher Status - Support and follow the Catholic Ethos of the school - A passion for excellence in the teaching of RE and capable of enthusing and inspiring others - Is capable of maintaining and developing exciting, imaginative and effective curriculum for all key stages - Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all students - Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills St Alban’s Catholic High School strives to provide an excellent education for our students within a caring Christian community where all are respected, valued and supported to achieve their potential. This appointment has a wider school responsibility in working with the Chaplain to develop spirituality of our students and the liturgical life of the school. St Alban’s is a Catholic school and we seek to appoint a practising Catholic to this post although we would welcome applications from people who would support our ethos.
