Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover)

Are you passionate about Drama with the dedication to inspire and motivate students, if so we would like to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our upper school. We have rapidly improved in the last two years and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent performing arts department. Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a full time Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover). The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages. Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has: - An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction - An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series. - Experience in teaching another subject within performing arts: Music, Dance or Media studies We encourage early applications and reserve the right to interview outstanding candidates prior to the application deadline.
