About the role
We are seeking an exceptional and committed Senior Teacher to join our
team and work closely with the Headteacher in driving the next phase of our
school’s development. This is a unique
opportunity for an experienced teacher who wishes to combine significant
classroom practice with a defined senior leadership role.
This
is a key strategic role for an experienced teacher and leader who is ready to
take on whole‑school responsibility. The role comprises four days per week as a
class teacher and one day per week dedicated to senior leadership
responsibilities. The successful candidate will deputise for the Headteacher in
their absence, maintain an overview of day‑to‑day life in the school, and play
a central role in leading people, practice and improvement.
You
will take responsibility for the performance management of support staff,
contribute significantly to school improvement priorities, lead a subject or
subjects, manage day-to-day operational matters and help ensure that our school
continues to provide a safe, positive and ambitious environment for all pupils
and staff.
This role is ideal for
someone who is passionate about teaching, values strong relationships and is
ready to take on wider leadership responsibility, while remaining firmly rooted
in the classroom. This role is for
someone who has the ability to see both the detail and the bigger picture of
school life.
You must
have:
- High
expectations of yourself and of our pupils
- The ability
to motivate and inspire our pupils
- A desire to
actively take part in the wider aspects of the school
- The ability

- An
understanding of how and why children behave in differing ways
- A
