The concept is simple: you attend work for nine days and get paid for ten. The tenth day is your dedicated ‘Reset Day’ — time away from school to catch up on your to-do list, recharge, and invest in your well-being. This is in addition to your statutory PPA time. Staff feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Colleagues return from their reset day feeling more energised, less overwhelmed, and better able to manage the demands of school life. This unique role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take on a pivotal leadership position within our Inclusion Team, while also contributing to our thriving Humanities Department as a classroom teacher. The successful candidate will be supported through line management from both the Head of Humanities and an Assistant Headteacher who is a qualified SENDCo, ensuring robust guidance and professional support as you transition into the role. Extensive experience of SEND, together with a passion for securing the highest quality provision for all learners, is essential. This commitment aligns with our inclusive ethos and our determination to achieve the very best outcomes for every student. The SEND Department sits within our wider Inclusion and Wellbeing Team, which is dedicated to delivering exceptional pastoral care and support. The Humanities Department has experienced significant growth in recent years and now offers History, Geography and Religious Studies at both GCSE and A Level, alongside Law and Politics in Key Stage 5.
