As a SEND learning support assistant, you will: - Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. - Work with small intervention groups to enhance learning and development. - Support children with autism, social communication difficulties, and SEND requirements. - Implement and deliver the TEACCH approach and other personalised learning strategies. - Help pupils develop confidence, independence, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning. - Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure positive outcomes for children. We are looking for someone who: - Has experience working with children in a school, nursery, early years, or educational setting. - Has experience supporting children with SEND. - Is patient, compassionate, and committed to inclusive education. - Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
