Learning Support Assistant Parkland Primary School South Wigston Salary: Grade 5 Pay Point 7-8 (£25,191 - £25,590 per annum, approximate starting salary of £17,475) Hours: 30 hours, 39 weeks per year Contract Type: Fixed Term for academic year 2026/2027 Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:40am to 03:10pm with 30 min lunch break About the Role Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing? What We Are Looking For - Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) OR ability to meet STL Level 2 National Occupational Standards. - Experience: Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a school setting. - Skills & Knowledge: - Understanding of child protection and health & safety procedures. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to motivate and engage students.
