KS2 Teacher

As a Class Teacher, you will: - Deliver ambitious, engaging and inclusive teaching that enables all pupils to make strong progress. - Create a positive climate for learning built upon clear routines, high expectations and respectful relationships. - Use assessment effectively to identify gaps, adapt teaching and respond precisely to pupils’ needs. - Provide appropriate support and challenge for all learners, including pupils with SEND and those facing disadvantage. - Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers and external professionals. - Support and promote the school’s Christian vision, values and inclusive ethos. - Fulfil the professional responsibilities set out in the Teachers’ Standards. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: - Holds Qualified Teacher Status. - Demonstrates consistently effective classroom practice. - Has secure knowledge of the primary curriculum and how children learn. - Establishes high expectations and a purposeful, inclusive climate for learning. - Uses assessment intelligently to inform teaching and address misconceptions. - Understands adaptive teaching and can remove barriers for pupils with additional needs. - Builds positive and professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. - Is reflective, organised and committed to improving their practice. - Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life. - Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. - Is willing to support and uphold the Christian character and values of the school.
