EYFS Learning Support Assistant Salary: Scale 3, Point 4-5 - FTE £25,914-£26,312 Actual Salary: £18,203.55-£18,483.13 including fringe allowance Working hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time plus INSET days Hours: 8.45am-3.45pm We are looking for someone who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education and understands the importance of high-quality interactions, positive relationships and purposeful learning through play. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. This will include supporting children within whole-class, small-group and individual activities, as well as helping to create and maintain an engaging and purposeful learning environment both indoors and outdoors. We are particularly looking for someone who can model high-quality language, encourage children to communicate confidently and support the development of early reading, writing and mathematics. The successful candidate will have high expectations for all children while recognising the importance of nurturing independence, curiosity and confidence during this important stage of their education.
