Early Years Teacher (Part Time) Contract Type: Permanent. Pay Grade: Grade M1 to M6. Full Time Salary: £34,096 to £46,940 Actual Salary: £20,441.40 to £28,164 Hours: 16.50 hours per week Starting: 1 January 2026 A fantastic opportunity has arisen at St James CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teacher, to join our committed team. Dedicated to supporting, inspiring and leading the brilliant children in our school. We are looking to appoint someone who: - Is enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly. - Ensures all children feel safe, happy, and able to learn. - Has proven experience in delivering the curriculum in a creative and tailored way, to sustain the academic achievement of all pupils. - Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies. - Is committed to supporting, motivating, and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom. - Can make special contribution to our school community, as a Teacher and a Team Member. - Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school. - Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.
