We are seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Estates Business Partner to oversee Estates across three academies within the region (Bourne End Academy, Denham Green Primary and Chalfont Valley Primary). Working closely with the Estates Business Partner, you will lead on compliance, ensuring site-related risks are effectively managed and controlled in line with current legislation. You will also support the long-term strategic planning and improvement of buildings, grounds and environmental maintenance, while overseeing site teams to ensure our facilities, equipment and learning environments are safe, well-maintained, fit for purpose and able to meet the needs of our academies and wider local communities. Key responsibilities: - To support the EBP in the development and implementation of the Trust’s/assigned region Estates Strategy including the production of Premises Development Plans and site documents. - Work with the Academies and lead site teams to ensure compliant and safe environments at all times. - To proactively support the Trust in providing a high quality, value for money, safe environment for staff, students and visitors. - To manage, monitor and provide quality assurance for Capital project work outsourced to external contractors, ensuring operators comply with the terms of the contract or service requested and that they follow all Health and Safety and other E-Act policies and procedures. - To be responsible for the security and safety across your assigned region Academies, including the contents and users at all times, including holiday periods and out-of-hour activities. This will include overseeing, monitoring, and updating contracts and systems to ensure effective compliance. Pay range: - NJC SCP 34-36 £46,579 - £48,738 per annum - Full time 37 hours - Permanent Qualifications and Skills: - Facilities Management qualification to Level 4 or above. - NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate, or above equivalent. - Ability to work effectively and supportively as a Line Manager and as a key member of the Regional and National teams. - Ability to act on own initiative dealing with any unexpected problems that may arise.
