The successful candidate will - Have a practical, hands-on approach and take pride in maintaining high standards. - Be reliable, organised and able to work independently. - Have good practical and problem-solving skills. - Be proactive and able to identify and respond to maintenance and site issues. - Have a positive and flexible approach to their work. - Be confident working as part of a busy school site team. - Have good communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with staff, students, contractors and visitors. - Understand the importance of health and safety and maintaining a safe environment. - Be willing to support the wider needs of the school and contribute positively to our community. Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, facilities or similar role would be advantageous. However, we are also interested in candidates who have strong practical skills, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference within a school environment.
