Advanced Teaching Assistant

The Advanced Teaching Assistant will have a passion for inclusive education and helping to develop a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. This role is central to promoting positive wellbeing, involving the delivery of targeted interventions and emotional support to help overcome barriers to learning so all children can access classroom teaching. You will use your expertise to adapt support, develop independence and collaborate closely with teachers, our SENDCo and other senior leaders to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access a rich and engaging curriculum and thrive both academically and personally. We are looking for someone who: - Is passionate about helping every child succeed and flourish - Brings creativity, patience and positivity to the classroom - Values strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues - Is a team player who contributes to the wider life of the school This role will work under the direction of the SENDCo, class teacher and other appropriate staff, in assisting with and contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the learning process. The post holder will work in classes, or other appropriate locations within the school, whilst accessing support and guidance from staff, supervising groups and /or individual pupils.
